Introduction
Dear All
It only seems like yesterday that we were cycling through France, occasionally battling with the wind and coping with the challenge of 90+ mile days, but the weather was generally fine, especially on that day along the Loire and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves - to various degrees!
Assembling the results of the questionnaire and the survey has been a major exercise, but most worthwhile, enabling us to assess so many aspects of this year’s event and also to plan for the future. We feel that we have a valid sample of the views of riders, with 71 responses which, taking account of couples and families, probably represents more than half of the participants - thanks to all who responded! The results can be viewed on page 3, but standouts were the vote for Support and the organisation of the Ride generally and also the ride along the Loire, with the day being seen as excellent by 70%, as was the lunchtime in Saumur.
The fundraising looks excellent, so please get in your sponsorship and let us know how much you raise, if being sent direct, not forgetting Gift Aid. See you at the Reunion! PF
