Tour de France – Route 2011 Announced

The Tour will be going through the region in which we shall be cycling next year, but it will be the week before we are there. On 7th July the 226km day starts in Dinan, near St Malo, and ends up in Lisieux, no doubt crossing some of our next week’s route. They are then transported to Le Mans, where they start a 216km day on 8th July, en route to Chateauroux, further south. It is likely that we shall stay at one of the hotels used by the Tour in Le Mans, the following week, so it will probably still be a little abuzz with cycling mania!
