Some riders live far from Hayling and others may be ready for something different. Here are other rides that riders may prefer to official practice rides.

This is a two-day event, with overnight stops in Weston-Super-Mare and Salisbury. It's a good taster for what it will be like to cycle from Paris, as the routes have been deliberately chosen to be similar to the road types used in France.
