| Turn right out of the Ship to the roundabout (0.7). Straight over and turn left at the lights (0.9). At mini roundabout turn right (1.3) and then left at the T junction (1.5). Proceed over the railway through the next lights to the mini roundabout and take the 2nd exit (2.2). Up over the hill to the next roundabout and take the 3rd exit (5.6). At the roundabout take the 3rd exit to Southwick (7.4) and bear left up the hill and bear left again (7.7). Turn right into Common Lane (8.1) and at the T-junction turn right (9.3). Bear right along the main road at the next junction (9.8). This road merges with the B2150 (12.3). Continue on this road and take care crossing the A32 (16.4). Proceed along Sheep Pond Lane towards Corhampton (17.5). Turn left at the B3035 and then the 1st right along Corhampton Lane - this can be busy so take care (18.2). Continue along this until you come to a left turning towards Owslebury (23.3). Turn 1st right and then 1st left at Bottom Farm (24.1). Bear left and keep on this road, which is narrow in places and watch out for loose gravel - until it meets the B3354 where you turn right (27). At the mini roundabout turn left (27.4). Towards the end of this road is the Dog and Crook (27.8) – the lunch time stop. After lunch turn right and at the mini roundabout turn right towards Marwell (28.6). At the lights turn left towards Bishops Waltham on the B2177 (29.1) and please take care along the busy stretch of road. It’s fast and furious but wide throughout. Stay on this road for about 5 miles until you reach Bishops Waltham and at the roundabout take the second exit into the town centre (32.8). At the next mini round about turn left by the Crown Pub (34.1) and then into the town and bear right by Barclays and follow the one system and straight ahead at the give way into Lower Lane (34.3). At the T junction turn right (34.4). Turn right again towards Swanmore up the hill (34.8). Stay on the main road (35.1) and over the min roundabout (35.2) into Hoe Road. Carry on along this road through Swanmore and onto staggered cross roads with the Hunters Inn pub where you cross over into Cott Street (36.9). Follow this road all the way to the junction with the A32. Please take special care crossing straight over since this is a very busy road (38.4). Go under the bridge and then take the first right up the hill by Little Bere Farmhouse (38.7). Turn left by the Bold Forestor pub (39.2) into Forestor Road. At the next T junction turn right (39.6) towards Newtown. Careful down steep hill and after a couple of bends in road and into Newtown the road straightens up for a while and on past the Travellers Rest (40.7). At the T junction turn right (41.5) and on up the small incline. At the top of the next rise turn left into Common Lane (41.9). At the foot of this road turn left and left again into Back Lane (43.2). At the top turn left at the give way sign towards Denmead. Follow this road all the way to the mini round about where you turn right(46) into Forest Road. Turn right opposite the styles into Furzeley Road (46.7) and follow the road round to the left and then bear right towards Purbrook. Follow this road all the way to the T junction where you turn left and then right at the mini roundabout up the hill towards Purbrook (49.4). Continue over the motorway and then right towards Bedhampton at the mini roundabout. Turn left at the T junction and right over the railway crossing. Turn right into Brockhampton Road and then left at the mini roundabout past Tesco. Turn right and onto the Ship (54). |
